JOB DESCRIPTION
Speech Language Pathologist

● About Facility:
o This is a hospital affiliated outpatient therapy clinic specializing in occupational, physical, and speech therapy.
● Department Information:
o Census? Average patients/day? 10-15 patients per day. This clinic schedules 30 min intervals and dovetails patients. Complex evaluations will be 1-hour, simple evals and treatments will be 30 min.
o Minimum Years of Experience required? Prefer 1 year of relevant experience
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o General orthopedics, debility, stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures
● Required Licenses/Certifications:
o Licensed in the state of Georgia
o BLS
● Skills required: must have 1 year SLP experience, highly prefer outpatient rehab experience. Must have previous travel experience.
● Support within the Department:
o This location has 2 therapists, 1 Office Coordinator and 1 Rehab Aide on site.
● Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
o Department specific Equipment:
● Orientation (facility and unit):
o NEO
o 5 days departmental
● Other notes:
o Scrub Color: Polos will be provided (Teal & Black) prefer slacks and clean shoes.
o Parking: Free
