Cardiac Sonographer - Echo Tech

Shift: 8hr Day Shift - 40
Shift Information: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
Weekend Rotation: None
Holiday Requirements: Closed major holidays

About Facility:
o North Wilkesboro, NC 28659

Department Information:
o Census: Average patients/day:  8-9 per day
o Minimum Years of Experience required:  1 year as an Echo tech
o Will you accept a first-time traveler:  Yes

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Outpatient and Inpatient testing, to include: TTE, Nuc Med ECHO, TEE, Pharmacologic Stress Testing, Bubble Studies

Required License, National Certification, Certs - requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o BLS; ARDMS (RDCS)

Skills required:
o Experience with the above studies

Support within the Department:
o RN, CMA, EKG technician, APP, MD

Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC, PACS
o Department specific Equipment: Phillips

Floating: If yes, where:
o none

Orientation (facility and unit):
o NEO
o 2 days departmental

Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: None
o On call: No call
o Holiday Expectations: Clinic is closed major holidays
o RTO: Request from Manager
