Description

Medical Technologist – 13 Week Contract

Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights | 5x8s | 40 Hours/Week
Shift Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Technologist experience within specialty
Cerner experience required
Required Certifications (one of the following):
- ASCP
- AMT
- AAB

Preferred Experience

Experience using Sysmex and CellaVision systems
Previous experience in a large hospital laboratory setting (600 beds)
Strong competency performing differentials, especially in neonatal populations
Experience handling complex specimens including:
- Turbid specimens
- Platelet clumps
- Abnormal cell findings

Job Details

Fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment
Candidate must be able to transition quickly with minimal training
Strong hematology and morphology skills preferred

Additional Information

No local candidates within 50 miles eligible for submission
Facility will only consider:
- Medical Laboratory Technologist
