- Schedule: Monday – Thursday
- Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Floating Requirement: None
We are seeking an experienced Travel MFM/Perinatal Sonographer to join the Perinatology Clinic team at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. The ideal candidate will independently perform advanced OB and fetal ultrasound examinations in a high-risk maternal fetal medicine setting while collaborating closely with MFM physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
This role requires strong expertise in fetal anatomy imaging, fetal echocardiography, biometry, and high-risk obstetrical ultrasound procedures.

The MFM Sonographer will independently perform and document:
OB & Perinatal Ultrasound Exams
- OB Limited (OB LTD) examinations
- Biophysical Profile (BPP) examinations
- High-risk obstetrical ultrasounds
- Fetal growth assessments
- Fetal biometry measurements
Fetal Anatomy Imaging
Obtain diagnostic-quality images of:
Fetal Spine- Sagittal views
- Transverse views
- Facial profile
- Nose/lips
- Mandible
- Maxilla
- Lens/orbits
- CSP
- Choroid Plexus
- Lateral Ventricles
- Falx
- Cerebellum
- Cisterna Magna
- Nuchal Fold
- Brain Parenchyma
Fetal Echocardiography
Perform and obtain imaging for:
- 4 Chamber View (4CH)
- RVOT
- LVOT
- 3 Vessel View (3VV)
- Trachea View (TTV)
- Aortic Arch
- Ductal Arch
- SVC/IVC
- High & Low Short Axis Views
- Color Doppler flow studies
Must Have
- Minimum recent experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine/Perinatal Ultrasound
- Ability to independently perform advanced OB and fetal anatomy scans
- Strong fetal echo imaging experience
- Experience with high-risk OB patients
Certifications Required
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- OB/GYN specialty certification required
- Additional fetal echocardiography experience preferred
- Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine clinics
- Familiarity with Viewpoint and Meditech Expanse
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Navy or Royal Blue scrubs required
