Day Shift – 1 charge nurse, 6-8 nurses, 1 secretary
Night Shift – 1 charge nurse, 6-8 nurses
Patient Ratios – 1:2, will do 1:1 as patient acuity dictates
Type of equipment – Impella, IABP, PrisMax, ECMO, Alaris IV pump, Edwards Hemospheres, vents
EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Knowledge of how to care for intubated patients
Knowledge of how to care for patients with titrating vasoactive meds
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
CV ICU background
Ability to care for device patients
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Recovery from open-heart surgery
Intubation, extubation, bedside bronchoscopy, bedside line insertion

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
ACLS/BLS
Floating Area(s):
MICU, CVIMU
Dress Code:
Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue

Weekends and On call(if any)
Every other weekend scheduled to work; no on call required
