· Previous travel experience working in remote monitoring
· Telemetry competent
· Be able to pass basic cardiac rhythm test
· Need to be able to analyze and interpret heart rhythms
· Good attendance record
· Write and understand English
· Must be able to type proficiently
· Basic computer knowledge
· Basic knowledge of how to operate an iPhone
· Ability to monitor high volume of patients and maintain calm during stressful situations
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· CNA background
· Cardiac nursing background
· Medical terminology background
· ECG-Board Certified
· Previous Client monitoring experience

· Analyzes and interpret heart rhythms
· Building end of shift reports within the Client Carescape system
· Add and discharge patients from the Client Carescape system
· Communicate to floor staff by desktop phone
· Communicate to floor staff using iPhone application
· Keep a running call log

The Central Monitoring unit is a cardiac monitoring unit that monitors roughly 336 patients from 7 different hospitals. We also provide Virtual Sitter options for the main Mission campus.
Travelers will be cross trained on the Client Carescape system and Cerner Patient Observer as a Virtual Sitter Attendant.
The Central Monitoring Unit is not located at the hospital in downtown Asheville but roughly 8 miles away with the farthest hospital being over an hour and half away.
The facility does not have a Cafeteria, staff will need to bring their own food or they can order out at one of the nearby restaurants.
This position requires lots of sitting however the desk do have sit to stand capability.
The shifts are 12 hour shifts. 0645-1915 and 1845-0715 with unit huddle beginning at 0653 and 1853.
