General Information
Unit Specifics:
· Unit staffing description/Department structure: Director, Manager, 1 Supervisor/charge therapist per shift, and regular staff
· Type of equipment : High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo's, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers
· Documentation system: Meditech
· Floating policy: may provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role:
BLS, NRP, PALS
2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Director prefer to only consider candidates with previous Meditech experience
Advanced skills needed:
Current NICU/PICU experience
Procedures performed on unit:
Respiratory Therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies, medication delivery, etc.
Best personality fit:
Team player, critical thinker, patient care focus, fast paced, Adaptable to change
Multidisciplinary approach to patient care and collaborative in nature
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
· Light Gray also known as Silver

· 447 tertiary care and teaching facility, Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, Level 3 NICU, Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
