Unit: 4E Cardiovascular
Assignment Overview
Travel RN assignment supporting the 4E Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit while permanent staff participate in Epic training initiatives. Travelers will provide direct patient care throughout the assignment.
Requirements
- Active Delaware RN License or Compact RN License required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU/specialty experience required (no exceptions).
- Recent Epic charting experience required.
- Submit RN license number and expiration date.
- Submit all certifications with expiration dates.
- Submit all requested time off (RTO) at the time of application; requests submitted after initial submission will not be considered.
- Full SSN, date of birth, and address required for onboarding.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: July 21, 2026
- Duration: 10 weeks
- End Date: September 26, 2026
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Interviews: Auto Offer
- Maximum RTO: 3 days
- Block scheduling not available
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday

Common diagnoses and treatments include:
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Heart Failure
- Atrial Fibrillation (A-Fib)
- Heart Block
- Respiratory Failure
- Carotid Stenosis
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)
- COPD
- Cardiomyopathy
- Endocarditis
- Lytic Therapy Patients
Unit Information
- Bed Capacity: 31–40 beds
- Charting System: Epic
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Special Procedures: Lytic Therapy
Staffing Ratios
- 1:2 for patients receiving lytic therapy
- 3:1 for high-acuity patients
- 4:1 for other PCU patients
