·         Number of Beds – 11 operating rooms
·         Number of Staff –  40 on all shifts
·         Type of staff:
o    Day Shift – 1 charge, 11 RN's, 11 Techs, 2 PCT's
o    Night Shift – Mon-Thurs 2 RN's, 2 Techs, Fri-Sun 1 RN, 1 Tech
o    Weekend- 1 charge, 2 RN's, 2 CST's, 1 PCY
·         Patient Ratios – 1:1
·         Type of equipment – varied OR equipment to include Microscopes, Robot Divincii Xi, Mako Robot, Laparoscopic Stryker tower, Stealth, endovascular Hybrid room equipment
·         EMR – Meditech
·         Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) – Yes Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for:  (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
 
Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
·          General surgery, orthopedic and neuro surgery experience both RN and Tech
·         Basic general OR knowledge of more than one year
·         If candidate is for CVOR they MUST have at least two years of CVOR experience, to include: ALL ADULT open heart cases, OPEN and ENDOVASCULAR cases. This includes open and endovascular Triple A surgery, and must be willing to work with the Cath lab on cases such as TAVR (trans aortic valve replacement). This includes RN and Tech.
Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.
·          Trauma experience both RN and Tech
·          Vascular surgery exp, RN and Tech. Cases such as fistula creations, and endarterectomy surgery
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  
·           X-lif, A-lif, Decompression, ACDF, Craniotomy, Robotic surgery (thoracic, general, gyn and urology), Ortho Trauma, total joints (Mako Robot), general open and laparoscopic surgery. 
·          CV- CABG, valves, surgies of the Aorta (to include traumas), TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, EVAR, and open vascular cases.

·          Willing to be flexible when it comes be in different types of rooms with different cases
·         Can work with the staff and adapt to the way we work in our departments, with the understanding that all places are not the same.
·         Could be willing to help pick up extra hours if we need it. (not a deal breaker)
·         Willing to occasionally assist in the perception of new grad techs or RN's Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
·         Scrub Color - light blue, scrubs provided.
