Overland Park, KS
8 Weeks contract

  Location: Building: B Floor: 4th Floor Order Detail: Facility Department Number:  76623

Shift: Day (8hour shift)
Call Requirements (no call)
Weekends: This is for a weekend assignment. Will need assistance on Sat and Sun. General Information Tell us about the unit(s):
  • Number of Beds -This position is a float position for OT. They will be on all units.
  • Number of Staff – We schedule 11-12 OTs a day
  • Type of staff:
    • Day Shift – (day shift only7-11 other OTs depending on the day)
    • Night Shift - None
  • Patient Ratios – 8-10 Acute care patients, or 4 rehab patients
  • Type of equipment – Hoyer, EZ Stands, BITS, Xcite
  • EMR -Meditech
Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for:  (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
 
Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
  •  BCLS

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.
  •  Inpatient Rehab Experience
  •  
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  
  •   Occupational Therapy Evaluations
  •  Occupational Therapy Treatments
List any machines and/or equipment used on the unit:
  • Hoyer
  • EZ Stand
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
  • Scrub Color -  Any Color. Look nice.

We are growing a Rehab Unit that will need help caring for our Inpatient Rehab patients. We have a great team culture at Menorah with our OT/PT team. We have received 2 employee of the quarter awards in 2025 (bee award) and just received a new Barihab and BURT device. We would love to have a short term contract to help us care for our patients.
