Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Unit: 616A Wound Care / Continence Services
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week (5 x 8-hour shifts)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment. The RN will serve as part of a consulting team that provides specialized assessment, recommendations, and care for patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs across the facility.
Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate, and manage patients with wound, ostomy, and continence care needs
- Provide expert consultation and treatment recommendations to interdisciplinary care teams
- Develop and implement evidence-based wound care plans
- Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention and management strategies
- Document patient care and treatment plans using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Wound Care RN experience
- Active RN license (state requirements apply)
- Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current CWOCN (Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse) certification

- Shift: Days (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia
- Scrub Color: Navy or Black
Additional Notes
- Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.
- Candidate must have recent specialty-specific wound care experience.
- Experience providing consultative wound, ostomy, and continence services is strongly preferred
