Unit is a post-surgical unit and the volume is heavy over mid week. Candidate MUST be able to work shifts need, excessive RTO will not be approved or considered.

Day Shift – Varies by Census
Night Shift – Varies by Census
Patient Ratios – 1: 5 with ancillary support
Type of equipment – PCA pump, Ice machine, Welch alyn Vital sign machine, Tele box, IV pump
EMR – Meditech
On Call Requirement – None
Floating Requirement – Often within MCHS to Tele. Occasionally float to MCD.

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
ACLS, BLS, Medsurg-
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

PCU experience

Tarlov /meningeal cyst removal, Join reconstruction, Hips and Knee surgery
Lumbar and cervical disc surgery, Orthopedic spine surgery
