• Experience: 1 year
• First-time traveler: Upon review
• Patient Types:
• Mostly geriatrics and adults, some peds in the ED
• Patient Ratios:
• 1:1
• Required Certifications:
• BLS, ACLS, CRT or RRT
• Skills required
• Vent management, CPAP, BiPap, Nebs, A-line placement, Intubation, Vent weaning, extubation, ABGs
• AVEA vents, Servo U Vents, LPU 1200 vents, parapack vents for MRI, Hamilton vents for transport
• Support on the Unit:
• Charting System/Equipment:
• EPIC
• Pyxis
• AVEA vents, Servo U Vents, LPU 1200 vents, parapack vents for MRI, Hamilton vents for transport
• Floating:
• floats within hospital to all units
• Orientation:
• at least one shift to learn flow
• Scheduling:
• Weekend rotation: every other (default)
• Can we approve time off? up to 7 days (default)
• On Call: varies (default)
• Holiday Expectations: not specified, varies (default)
• Block scheduling will NOT be accommodated
• AAH adheres to a "fatigue policy” where all staff, including travelers, cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12 hour shifts
