Night Shift - Call only (RN X2 or 1 RN and 1 Gi Tech)
Patient Ratios – 1:1, 1:2, Estimated never guaranteed
Type of equipment – Olympus Scopes
EMR – Meditech / CPN
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 1-year current acute care ENDO experience
BLS
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
ACLS
Preop/recovery and Intraop experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy
EUS and bronchoscopy

The GI department is a very small group with good working relationships with staff and GI doctors. Most of the staff are very knowledgeable with years of experience. The department itself is not very busy with an average of 10 cases a week but is staffed primarily for emergencies and for OR support.
