General Information

· Number of Beds – 504, most commonly OT has around 150 on caseload regularly
· Number of Staff –~ 60 therapy staff between PT/OT/SLP team for acute service
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – OT, PRN COTA (infrequent)
o Night Shift -n/a
· Patient Ratios –n/a
· Type of equipment – general therapy equipment
· EMR -Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 6 months of current OT hospital experience
BLS
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Emotional intelligence
Efficiency in triage
Emphasis on teamwork and willingness to support fellow OTs
Effective use of time management

· Productivity expectation: 21 units in an 8-hour workday, 26 units in a 10-hour workday

High-quantity neuro population, early mobility initiatives in our multiple ICUs, strong team comradery, free parking, on-site cafeteria/coffee shop. Hospital is nestled within a residential neighborhood. Flexible start time: 7-9am for a 8 hour day with an option to add to a 10-hour workday once established.
