- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 supervisor on shift, 7-9 staff
- Night Shift – 1 supervisor on shift, 7-9 staff
- Patient Ratios – assignments are based on volume, not number of patients for RT—about 35-40 per shift
- Type of equipment – Client ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, Airvo HFNC
- EMR – Meditech
- Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) – Y
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting
- Adult critical care experience/ICU, ED
- Standard RT procedures (Nebulizers, CPT, arterial blood gasses, ventilator management, inhaled nitric oxide, bronchoscopy assistance, intubation assistance, transporting with mechanical ventilation within the hospital—for example to CT/MRI)
- Someone who is able to easily collaborate with team members in the RT department as well as other disciplines in the hospital
- Scrub Color - Olive green tops/black pants
