Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Cardiac Imaging

• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Occasional Extended Hours: Some procedures may continue until 4:30 PM EST
• On-Call: None
• Weekend Requirement: None
• Location: 140 Canal View Boulevard, Rochester, NY 14623

Position Overview

• Perform advanced Nuclear Cardiology imaging procedures in a high-volume cardiac imaging laboratory.
• Provide exceptional patient-centered care while producing high-quality diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and implementation of new imaging technologies while maintaining compliance with NYSDOH regulations and departmental standards.

 Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience
• Minimum 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• NMTCB certification or ARRT (N) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program.
• Experience performing advanced cardiac nuclear medicine procedures in a hospital or academic medical center.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, nuclear imaging protocols, radiation safety, and quality assurance procedures.
