Location: Charlotte, NC 28203
Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 10hr/day; 40hr/Week

  • Licensed Beds: CMC 874, LCH 247

  • Trauma Designation: Level I Trauma

  • Teaching Hospital: Yes

  • Chest Pain Center: Yes

  • Stroke Center: Yes

Department Information

  • Average Patients per Day: 25–30

  • Minimum Years of Experience Required: 1 year

  • First-Time Traveler Accepted: Yes

Patient Types / Common Diagnoses

  • Adults and Pediatrics from ED, ICUs, Nursing Units, and Outpatients

  • Full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses

Licenses and Certifications

  • BLS

  • ARRT-R

Required Skills

  • Strong clinical skill sets

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

  • Good communication skills

  • Team-oriented and helpful attitude

Department Support

  • Lead Tech, Modality Supervisor, and Imaging Manager in each department

  • Diverse team with experience ranging from new graduates to long-tenured staff

Technology / Equipment

  • EMR: EPIC

  • Equipment: 1 Siemens single-plane, 2 Siemens bi-plane, 1 Canon bi-plane

  • Not required

Orientation

  • Facility tour and departmental introductions

  • 5-day departmental orientation (flexible based on traveler needs)

Scheduling

  • Rotations: No weekend/weekday rotations; fixed shifts per contract

  • On-Call: Fair rotation among full-time, part-time, PRN, and travelers

  • Holiday Coverage: Required unless pre-approved off

  • RTO: Manager approval needed

  • Shift Times: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts; staffed 24/7/365

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks; consistent shift and times per contract
