TRAVEL – RESPIRATORY THERAPIST – (754) / 7:00AM - 7:00PM Unit Information: Cardio-Respiratory Location: Medical City Lewisville Address: 500 W. Main St. Lewisville, TX 75067 Floor: 1st Building: Main General Information Tell us about the unit(s):

Number of Beds - 191
Number of Staff – Days – 8 FT staff; 4 Level 1 PRN; Nights – 10 FT staff
Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 Supervisor; 3 staff
- Night Shift - 1 Supervisor; 3 staff
Patient Ratios –
Type of equipment - Servo I; Servo U; V60; Hamilton C-1; Airvo; Volara; Vest
EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Able to work with critical care level patients independently
Able to triage levels of care as will cover multiple ranges of floors

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Level 3 NICU experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Neb treatments, vent checks, BiPap checks, ABG draws, intubation assist, extubation, bronch assist, PEP therapy, run lactic, EKG, patient assessment

Best personality Fit:

Team player, willing to help with needed; kind; compassionate

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

ALS, PALS, NRP

Floating Area(s):

Needed for ICU, PCU, ED & floors

Dress Code :

Scrub Color/Attire - Black

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

Weekends and On call(if any)

Rotating Weekend
