· Number of Beds : 10
· Patient Ratios :2:1, 3:1
· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNC), RNs, PCTs, Nurse Externs
· Type of equipment : Philips Telemetry, Baxter pumps, iMobile, Vents, glucometer
· Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
· Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, three 12 hours shifts
· Floating policy: May float to PCU, 3rd floor, or ED
· Patient Experience requirements: At least 2 years of ICU experience
Hospital Specifics- - Frankfort Regional Medical Center is a 173-bed acute care facility that has received numerous awards and accolades for its quality of care, including Magnet® designation for nursing excellence. Accredited by The Joint Commission, the hospital is conveniently located off I-64 in Central Kentucky approximately 50 miles from Louisville and 30 miles from Lexington.
· Certifications: Active nursing license in good standing (with compact if indicated), BLS required, ACLS required, current NIH (must be certified annually)

Requested Skill Set: CPap and BiPap management, Port access, therapeutic phlebotom
Must have:
2 years ICU Experience
Advanced skills needed: preferred experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vac, drains, post-dialysis assessment, central lines, blood transfusion, ventilators
Procedures performed on unit: telemetry monitoring, paracentesis (physician led), BiPap, therapeutic phlebotomy
Certifications Required: Active nursing license in good standing (with compact if indicated), BLS required, ACLS required, current NIH (must be certified annually)
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
· Navy or gray scrubs
