· Number of Beds: 1
· Number of Staff: 3
· Type of Staff: OR RN, OR ST (CVOR)
o Day Shift: 0700-1930
o Night Shift: 1930-0700
· Patient Ratios – 1:1
· Type of Equipment: CVOR
· Documentation System: Meditech
· Call Requirements: When the call is on Weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday will be 24 hr.
During the week the call is after 3pm (M-F)
Typical Hiring Profile
Must have: (includes certifications and special skills, ex: ACLS, BLS, NIH)
· Surg tech certification
List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):
· CABGs, AVR,MVR, THORACOTOMY, ECMO, PACEMAKERS, TRACH, MAZE
Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently)
· COVERAGE FOR 3 HOSPITALS: MERCY, KENDALL & AVENTURA at times
