Submission Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU/PCU experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience documented on the resume.
- 75-mile radius rule applies.
- Local candidates (within 75 miles) are accepted at local pay rates.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Active New York RN license.
- NURSYS license verification showing the active NY license and all RN licenses.
- Skills Checklist matching the IMCU/PCU specialty.
- Valid driver's license with an address matching the candidate's demographics.
- Requested Time Off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.
- Experience with Epic EMR is required.
Job Details
- Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/PCU)
- Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Scheduling: Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
- Floating: Required
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Patient Population
Common diagnoses include:
- Neurological conditions
- Cardiac conditions
- Trauma
- COPD
- Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
- Sepsis
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Cardiovascular Step-Down
- Post-operative patients
Required Equipment Experience
Experience with the following is preferred:
- Temporary Pacemakers
- Chest Tubes
- Arterial Lines (A-lines)
- BiPAP
- Neptune Vapo
