• Number of Staff – 71
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary, leadership, educator
  • Night Shift – labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary
• Patient Ratios – labor 1:1 (most of the time), post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1
• Type of equipment – Client fetal monitors
• EMR – Meditech, CPN

Hiring Profile

Must have:

• At least 2 years of labor experience

Preferred or nice to have:

• 2 years of labor experience with a history working in an LDRP with high birth volumes

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patients. Newborn and post-partum care

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• BLS, ACLS, NRP & AWHONN Fetal monitoring certification

Dress Code:

• Navy blue scrubs/ MIU nurses have pink badges for infant security

Weekends and On call:

• Every third weekend with 12 hours of call per 4 week schedule
