Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 Weeks

• Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)

• Shift: Variable Day Shifts

• Weekends: None

• Holidays: None

Candidate Requirements

• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.

• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.

• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention and patient safety standards.

• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and post-operative care.

• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and professional nursing standards.
