Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Temp-to-Perm

Location: Limerick, PA 19468 (Primary) & Phoenixville, PA 19460 (Secondary)
Duration: Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating Day/Evening Schedule

Job Description:

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy Penn Medicine outpatient practice. This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, strong patient care skills, and the flexibility to work at both the Limerick and Phoenixville locations.

Responsibilities:

• Room and prepare patients for examination.
• Record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up visits.
• Answer and return patient phone calls.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR.
• Perform administrative and clinical duties as assigned.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked, cleaned, and prepared.
• Deliver excellent patient care while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be comfortable working with pediatric and family medicine patients.

Schedule:

• Week 1: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Training)
• After Training:
  • Rotating schedule including one evening shift until 7:00 PM every Monday or Tuesday.
  • One Saturday (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) per month at the Phoenixville location.

Important Requirements:

• Must be able to commute to both Limerick and Phoenixville within 30 minutes.
• Temp-to-Perm opportunity – candidates must be interested in permanent employment with Penn Medicine.
• Must be available for an in-person interview in Limerick or Phoenixville.
• Candidate must provide their own stethoscope.
• Must be able to complete all onboarding, medical clearance, and drug screening requirements promptly upon offer acceptance.
