Job Title: Registered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Varies)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) or related specialty experience.
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.
- Required:
- AHA BLS
- Preferred:
- AHA ACLS
- Chemotherapy Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
Unit Details
- Unit: 718A Bone Marrow Transplant
- Inpatient isolation unit providing intermediate level of care.
- Care for patients receiving:
- Cell therapy
- Chemotherapy
- Immunotherapy
- Blood product transfusions
- Bone marrow/stem cell transplants
- Low nurse-to-patient ratios to support specialized patient care.
Position Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Specialized Bone Marrow Transplant unit focused on caring for immunocompromised patients undergoing complex oncology and transplant treatments.
