PCU RN
100 MILE RADIUS RULE
12hr DAYS - weekend, holiday and call required
7a-7:30p
13 weeks
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current critical care experience preferred.
Must have a current NY RN license.
BLS required. ACLS required. NIH required. PALS preferred.
Traveler must have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment. New travelers will not be considered.
Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, ability to provide quality patient care and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.
Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts or move patients in a safe manner.
Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate.
May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required.
