• Number of Staff – 15
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift –13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Patient Care Tech
  • Night Shift - 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Patient Care Tech

• Patient Ratios – 1:2; 1:1 for high acuity including post CABG patients - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
• Type of equipment – Balloon pumps; CRRT; Hypothermia; ECMO
• EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience
• ACLS, BLS & NIH

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• TNCC
• Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Trauma patients; Post-CABG; Post-TAVR; General post-surgical ICU patients
• Chest tubes; central lines; Medication Drips
