General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

·   Number of Beds -18 (15 labor rooms, 3 triage bays, plus 2 OR's)

·   Number of Staff – 33.45

·   Shift for the Traveler --- PM

·   Type of staff:

o   Day Shift – 1 charge, 1 OB tech, 1 clerk, 4-6 RN's

o   Night Shift – 1 charge, 1 OB tech, ½ clerk, 3-4 RN's

·   Patient Ratios – 1:1 or 1:2

·   Type of equipment – Fetal Monitor, Labor beds, Delivery tables, etc

·   EMR – Epic

·   On Call Requirements: Optional

·   Weekend Requirements: Every other

Skill Set Most recruited for:

 

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·   Able to circulate C-sections

·   Have at least 2 years L&D experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·   Epic charting

·   High Risk OB

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

·   Inductions, vaginal deliveries, C-sections

·   Antepartum, High Risk OB, Magnesium Sulfate, Insulin Drips

Best personality Fit:

·   Dependable

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·   BLS, ACLS , AWHONN, NRP

Floating Area(s):

·   Postpartum, if needed

Dress Code :

·   Scrub Color/Attire - We will provide hospital laundered scrubs at the beginning of every shift
