Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Schedule: Days | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Tuesday–Friday | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours/Week
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required.
- Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Current NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification required.
- Experience performing diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures.
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation, radiation safety, and quality control procedures.
- Strong patient care, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals while following radiation safety regulations and ALARA principles.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate nuclear medicine and PET imaging equipment to acquire accurate diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after imaging procedures, recognizing and responding to adverse reactions or changes in condition.
