General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

  • Number of Beds -40
  • Number of Staff – Approximately 65, missed with RN's, Paramedics and EMT's
  • Type of staff:
    • Day Shift – 1 CNC, 6 RN's and an EMT with multiple midshaft staff arriving at different times of the day
    • Night Shift – 1 CNC, 6 RN's, 1 EMT and 1 Medic with midshifters leaving at different times throughout the night
  • Patient Ratios – 4:1
  • Type of equipment – IV Pumps, EV 1000, EKG machines, U/S machines and Client
  • EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

  • Minimum 1-year current acute care ED RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC and ENPC

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

  • Trauma level 1 or level 11 experience
  • Prior Meditech experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

  • Rapid assessment, stabilization and intervention
  • Vitals and ECG

Best personality Fit:

  • Experienced ER nurse who is a team-player, motivated and ambitious
  • Patient care experience is a priority
