Travel Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Department: 640A Intensive Care Unit
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3×12-Hour Day Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (36 Hours/Week)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Active RN license
- AHA BLS (Required)
- AHA ACLS (Required)
- CCRN (Preferred)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification (Preferred)

- General Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Cerner EMR
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive critical care to critically ill adult patients
- Monitor hemodynamic status, ventilators, and advanced life support equipment
- Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, blood products, and other critical therapies
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Cerner
Important Information
- No local candidates (must reside 50 miles from the facility).
- Travelers are expected to work the following holiday schedule:
- 2 Major Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year's Day
- 1 Minor Holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
