Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds - 8

· Number of Staff – 19

· Shift for the Traveler – Days 0500-1700 3 shifts one week and 2 the next week

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – 1 Charge 1 RN

o Night Shift - 1 Charge 1 RN

· Patient Ratios – 2/1 Labor patients 4/1 Couplets (mother/baby)

· Type of equipment – Fetal monitors

· EMR – Meditech. CPN

· On Call Requirements – 1 Call shift a week with the potential for 2 calls on week with only 2 shifts

· Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Labor and Delivery experience

· Nursery experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· C-Section experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Deliveries and recovery

· Newborn testing (CCHD, Newborn Metabolic Screening, Bilirubin, Hearing Screening)

Best personality Fit:

· Hardworking, willing to ask questions, and help out coworkers as needed

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· ACLS

· NRP

· STABLE

· CEFM or Awhonn fetal monitoring

Floating Area(s):

· Occasionally as a sitter in Ed or Med/Surg

Dress Code :

· Scrub Color/Attire - Hospital provides scrubs
