About Facility

• Level 1 Trauma Center
• Level II NICU
• Teach Hospital
• Magnet Designation
• Primary Stroke Center
• Bed: 273
• AAH will require the Covid vaccine.

General Information: Beds: 4

• Approx 50 patients/shift

Experience: 2 years

• Preferred candidates with level 1 or level 2 trauma experience
• First-time traveler: Upon review

Patient Types:

• Inpatient/Outpatient; General CT and Vascular patients
• Covid & PPE:
• appropriate PPE provided

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Required Certifications: BLS, ACR and IEMA certs, all are required

Skills required :

• General CT and vascular, Client equipment experience (preferred)
• EPIC experience is a must

Support on the Unit: Supervisor

Charting System/Equipment: EPIC

Floating: None

Orientation: at least one shift to learn flow

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: Alternating weekends required
• On call: 2-3 call shifts required per month (max.)
• Holiday Expectations: none
