Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set:

Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)

• MINIMUM 2 YEARS ED EXPERIENCE
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS PALS OR ENPC, TNCC
• NIHSS REQUIRED

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following:

• MEDITECH Exp. preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)

• Active Texas RN License – temp license will not be accepted

Procedures performed on unit:

• Standard ED procedures
• Level IV trauma
• Primary stroke center
• Chest Pain Accredited with PCI (STEMI 24/7)

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

• Scrub Color

• RN: ROYAL BLUE

• Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
• Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
• Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
• Other – SHOES: constructed of a non-absorbent material with slip resistant soles. Breathable mesh athletic shoes that do not have a leather or man-made upper are not permitted.
