Classification: RN – Postpartum / Newborn Nursery
Shift Detail: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
General Information
Shift Details- Please correct information below if needed:
· Quantity: 1
· Assignment Length: 13 weeks
· Shift/Workdays: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
· Weekend – Rotating
· Call Requirements: Discuss during interview
· Guaranteed Hours: 36
· Special Skills/Experience required: 2 years

· Documentation system: Meditech, CPN
· Floating policy: As needed to LAD
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
· NRP
· BLS
· Ability to care for high risk Antepartum patients as well as Postpartum recoveries
· Newborn Nursery experience
· 2 Years of Hospital Experience
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed : (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following:
· Advanced FM is a plus. RNC-OB is a plus. Neither are required
· Meditech experience
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
· ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE – temp license will NOT be accepted
· NRP
Procedures performed on unit:
· IV placement
Patient Experience Required:
· Antepartum Care
· Newborn Nursery Care
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
· Scrub Color
o RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
· Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
· Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
· Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
· Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.

· Floating Guidelines: May float to LAD
· Attendance Policies: The company wide attendance policy will be followed.
