Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds: 9 pre/post 4 procedure rooms

· Patient Ratios: 1:1 procedure; 1-3 pre/post care

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 0-unit secretary, 3 Full time Endo Techs

· Type of equipment: Olympus, Steris, Conmed, ERBE and Boston Scientific

· Documentation system: Expanse Provation

· Scheduling requirements: 8 hours 5 days per week

· Floating policy: if volume is light would float to the main OR Sterile Processing Department

· Patient Experience requirements: none

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: Certified Endoscope Reprocessor

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set: Familiar with Olympus Endoscopes, medivators, leak testing. Knowledge of colon, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopes and EUS

Must have : Reprocessing Endoscope knowledge/skills

Advanced skills needed:

Procedures performed on unit: EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, BARRYX ablations, Bronchoscopies, Bravo placements, HET, TIF, EBUS and EUS.

Certifications Required: CFER

Dress Code : (Required uniform)

· Hospital scrubs provided, closed toe shoes required
