Contract RN – Labor & Delivery | San Antonio, TX
Facility: Methodist Metropolitan Hospital
Location: San Antonio, TX
Unit: Women's Pavilion – Labor & Delivery
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Weekend/Call: Discuss during interview
Requirements:
- 2 years of hospital/L&D experience
- Active Texas RN license — temporary license not accepted
- BLS, ACLS, NRP
- Intermediate & Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- Strong fetal monitoring experience
- Meditech experience preferred
Unit Details:
- 16 LDRs, 5 OBED/Triage beds, 7 Antepartum beds
- Typical patient ratio: 1:2
- Fetal monitoring equipment
- EMR: Meditech / CPN
- Unit Clerk & OR Tech available 24/7
- Procedures: Vaginal deliveries & C-sections
- Floating required as needed
Scrubs: Navy scrub top/pants; navy or white scrub jacket
Other: Clean/healthy nails, neat hair, trimmed facial hair, and visible body art/piercings must follow hospital policy.
