Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing:
- Number of Beds: 24
- Patient Ratios (ESTIMATED): 2:1 and 3:1 OBED triage
- Unit staffing description: High risk obstetrical unit, labor and delivery
- Type of equipment : Client fetal monitors
- Documentation system: Meditech, CPN
- Scheduling requirements: 3-12 hour night shift 7p-7a per week
- Floating policy: As needed

Requested Skill Set:
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
- High risk obstetrical bedside training, circulating in c/section in the labor and delivery area, recovering high acuity patients.
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following:
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN/LVN/Tech)
- Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate
Procedures performed on unit:
- Vaginal deliveries, c/sections, d&c, post delivery recovery care.
Patient Experience Required:
- At least 2 years high risk labor and delivery care
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
- Scrub Color
- RN:
- Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
- Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
- Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
- Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.

- Floating Guidelines: ability to float to antepartum unit within Women's
- Attendance Policies: The company wide attendance policy will be followed.
