· Number of Beds – 4-8 bed NICU

Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:00 AM
Shift Type: Night Shift
· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – Minimum of 2 NICU nurses are staffed at all times (more as census needs)

o Night Shift – Minimum of 2 NICU nurses are staffed at all times (more as census needs)

· Patient Ratios – Typically 3:1 or less depending on acuity and census

· Type of equipment – Alaris pump, Medfusion pump, Dash 5000, phototherapy lights, iStat machine, glucometer, giraffe beds, panda warmer, ohio warmer, bili meter, traditional ventilator

· EMR – Centricity Perinatal and Meditech Expanse

Hiring Profile

Must have :

· Greater than 2 years NICU experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· STABLE

· Delivery team experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· IV starts, lab draws, medication administration, UVC/UAC line maintenance, assessments, assist provider with intubation, chest tube placement, umbilical line placement, circumcision

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· BLS, NRP

Dress Code :

· Scrub Color/Attire – Provided

Weekends and On call:

· Every other weekend
