REQUIREMENTS
Associate Degree
LSRTBE in Radiation Therapy for Louisiana is required
RADTH ARRT is required
BLS from AHA is required
Types of patients/cases on the unit: Cancer and osteoarthritis patients. We do SBRT, IMRT, basic radiation therapy, and some breath hold treatments. Candidates should be able to work a Trilogy and/or a Trubean machine.

Nurse / Patient Ratio
Two therapists per machine and they will see 15-25 patients each day

Olive green pants and black shirts preferred
Summary:
Performs radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients. Operates specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician. Keeps treatment records and prepares operational reports as required. Maintains, stores and orders supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Provides quality patient care in relation to the patient's prescribed diagnosis, treatment, age group, development and other identified needs
Responsible for the performance of all duties relating to the administration of a prescribed course of Radiation Therapy
Requirements:
Associate Degree
MRT License in state of employment
RRT License in state of employment
BLS
RADTH ARRT
