• Number of Beds: 27

• Number of Staff: 50 RNs / 25 Medics

Type of Staff:

• Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 2–3 Medics

  • Staff increases by 4–5 RNs at 11:00 AM

  • Staff increases by 1–2 RNs at 3:00 PM

• Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 2–3 Medics

Patient Ratios: 4–6:1

TYPICAL HIRING PROFILE

Must Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Must have completed 2–3 travel assignments

• Must have 2–3 years of ER experience

PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience in high-acuity, fast-paced, high-volume ERs

• Experience working with patient ratios of 5:1

TYPICAL PROCEDURES PERFORMED

• RSI

• Sepsis interventions

• Stroke protocols with tPA administration

• Central line placement

• Care of psychiatric patients

• Transfers to other facilities, including EMTALA transfers

• Weekends: 4 weekend shifts during a 4-week scheduling period

  • Night Shift: Friday or Saturday

  • Day Shift: Saturday or Sunday
