• Number of Beds/OR Rooms: 18

• Number of Staff: -

• Type of Staff: Mix of RNs and Surgical Techs

• Day Shift: Scrub and Circulator coverage for 18 rooms, Charge RN, Service Line Experts/Support, OR Support Technicians

• Night Shift: Scrub and Circulator for trauma team, with additional on-call teams

• Patient Ratios: -

• EMR: Meditech

TYPICAL HIRING PROFILE

Skills Most Recruited For:

• Level II Trauma experience

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties, including:

  • Orthopedics — general, total joints, and spine

  • Neuro

  • General Surgery

  • GYN

  • Urology, including DaVinci

  • Vascular

  • Thoracic

MUST HAVE:

Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Level II or greater Trauma experience

PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE:

Candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Expert Spine skills

• Expert Orthopedic skills

TYPICAL PROCEDURES PERFORMED

• Spinal fusion

• Total joint replacements

• Orthopedic trauma procedures

• DaVinci robotic procedures, including:

  • Prostatectomy

  • Colectomy

  • Gastric bypass

  • Other robotic procedures

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• BLS
• ACLS

• Certifications specific to the role and aligned with state and federal regulations, such as CST and applicable licenses

• Weekend and night coverage may be required to cover vacancies

• On-call is required

• Approximately four 12-hour on-call shifts per 8-week schedule
