UNIT DETAILS:

• Number of Beds: 7 OR Suites

• Number of Staff: 45

• Type of Staff:

  • RNs

  • CSTs

  • Ancillary Support Staff

• Patient Ratio: 1:1 (Estimated)

• Equipment: Various

• EMR: Meditech

STAFFING:

Day Shift:

• 1 Charge RN

• 6–7 RNs

• 6–7 CSTs

• Orderly

• Anesthesia Techs

Night Shift:

• 1 RN

• 1 CST

TYPICAL HIRING PROFILE

SKILL SET MOST RECRUITED FOR: General / Trauma OR Skills

MUST HAVE:

• Operating Room experience

• Labor & Delivery experience alone is not applicable

• Neuro experience

• Ortho/Spine experience

• At least 1 year of experience

PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE:

• Trauma Center experience

• Ortho experience

TYPICAL PROCEDURES PERFORMED ON UNIT:

• Orthopedic procedures

• Neurological procedures

• Robotic procedures

• General surgery

• Trauma surgery

• Urology

BEST PERSONALITY FIT:

• Team player

• Positive attitude

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• BLS
• ​ACLS

WEEKENDS / ON-CALL:

• Call requirements are approximately 10 days per month, but may be up to 15 days per month
