NOW HIRING: Emergency Department (ED) RN – Extended Holiday Contract

Job Overview

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)

• Contract Length: 18–24 Weeks (Holiday Coverage)

• Compensation: Increased bill rate for holiday coverage

• Patient Ratio: 1:6

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Floating: Required (within clinical scope)

• Locals: No locals permitted (Must reside > 30 miles from facility)

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Experience: 2.5 years of ED experience, 1 year of Neuro/Stroke experience, and Level 1 resuscitation patient experience required

• Travel History: Minimum 2 prior completed travel assignments required

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS (BLS), NIHSS, PALS

• Preferred Certification: TNCC

• Charting System: Meditech

Holiday & RTO Rules

• General RTO Restrictions: No RTO allowed during the first or last week of the assignment.

• Blackout Dates: No RTO on 10/31 or 11/27. (Exception: Consideration given if candidate works 11/26, 12/24, 12/31, and 01/01).

• Holiday Work Commitments:

  • 1–2 Holidays in contract: Required to work 1 Eve (12/24 or 12/31) AND 1 Holiday (10/31, 11/26, 11/27, 12/25, or 01/01).

  • 3 Holidays in contract: Required to work 1 Eve (12/24 or 12/31) AND 2 Holidays (11/26, 11/27, 12/25, or 01/01).

• Facility Type: 210-Bed Acute Care Hospital

• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

• Scrub Code: Any color (No t-shirts, sweatshirts, or competitor/prior org logos)

• Attendance Policy: 3 call-outs result in immediate termination.

• Shift Changes: Facility requires schedule flexibility with advance notice (48 hours' notice for shift adjustments; refusal may forfeit guaranteed hours. 1 week notice; refusal may result in contract cancellation).
