· Number of Staff – 7

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – ( 1 charge, 4 nurses (RNs or LPNs), 2 PCTs, 1 unit clerk)

o Night Shift - ( 1 charge, 4 nurses (RNs or LPNs), 2 PCTs)

· Patient Ratios – 6:1

· Type of equipment – BLS, NIHSS

· EMR – Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Prior inpatient acute care experience

· Basic dysrhythmias

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Worked at trauma center

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· PIVs insertion/management/removal

· central line management/removal

· foley insertion/management/removal

· NGs insertion/management/removal

· drain management/removal

· wound care and ostomy management

· Continuous bladder irrigation

· Chest tube management

· EKG

List any machines and/or equipment used on the unit:

· Alaris IV pumps

· Hoyer, Sarah Steady

· Feeding pumps

· Welch Allyn Vital Sign Machines

· iMobile

· Vein Finder

· Virtual Admission RN (10a-10pm)
