Required Qualifications
Candidates must have:

Previous Oncology nursing experience

Active RN license

BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications

Hematology/Oncology experience

Chemotherapy certification
Typical Patient Care
The unit commonly manages:

Blood product replacement

Electrolyte replacement

Complex oncology-related care
Floating
Travel RNs may float to:

Hematology/Oncology

Bone Marrow Transplant
Unit Guidelines

Neutropenic precautions

Strict intake and output monitoring

CHG bath and linen change every 24 hours

Dressing changes every 7 days

Lines and caps changed every 96 hours

No children under 16 permitted on the unit
