This Registered Nurse position provides direct patient care in a medical-surgical orthopedic setting. The role involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical orthopedic patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Specific Educational/Vocational Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required.

Job Skills

• Experience in medical-surgical nursing, preferably with orthopedic patients.
• Ability to perform post-operative care and manage patient needs effectively.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
