About Facility:
- Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is a 304-bed, full-service hospital located in Rome, Georgia. Serving as the main campus for Atrium Health Floyd, this hospital provides a certified Chest Pain Center, a designated Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence and a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. Atrium Health Floyd also is home to a state-designated Level II Trauma Center and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and has specialty centers for pediatrics, and wound care and hyperbaric therapy.
- Census: Average patients/day: 8-11 Patients per therapist per day.
- Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes
- orthopedics, debility, spinal cord, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures, post-op, cardiac
- Licensed in the state of Georgia, BLS
- SLP: Licensed in the state of Georgia, BLS
- Ability to treat above common diagnoses and work independently with minimal oversight.
- SLP: for Modified Barium Swallow test & FEEs assessments
- The Rehab department has over 20 Teammates (therapist and aides) working daily with Administration on site.
- EMR: EPIC
- Department specific Equipment for SLP: FEEs Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing
Orientation (facility and unit):
- NEO
- 3-5 days departmental (depending on relevant experience)
- Weekend rotation: No
- On call: If so, what is that schedule: No
- Holiday Expectations: No
- RTO Requests: If participating in SimpliFi Clinical Interviewing – can we approve up to 7 days of RTO on your behalf, if traveler extends contract to accommodate: Yes
- Shift times: 5-8 s, 4-10 s (day off chosen by department and will be consistent throughout assignment)
