Description

Title: Registered Nurse - PCU
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1425 Portland Ave Bldg 3, Rochester, NY 14621
Start Date: 10/13/2026
Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Specialty: MSDU RN / Intermediate Care Unit
Shift: 3×12 Nights | Weekend: Every other weekend
Beds: 26 | Ratio: 1:5–1:7
Experience: 1 year required
First-Time Traveler: Accepted
License: ⚠️ NY RN License must be in hand — NO EXCEPTIONS
Local Rule: Must live 75 miles from facility
Certifications: BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required — NIHSS must be included in submittal
Charting: EPIC experience required
Scrubs: Navy blue & white — any combination
Patient Population: Adult acute-care patients requiring higher acuity than general Med/Surg
Unit: Step-down/IMCU receiving patients from ED, PACU, ICU & Med/Surg
Clinical Skills: Telemetry & dysrhythmia interpretation/management, Rapid Response/Code response, peripheral IV care, phlebotomy, oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway management, BIPAP, arterial/central lines, titrated IV medications & isolation precautions
Facility: Tertiary Care Hospital | 528 staffed beds
